what to bring camping with us to a cabin?
My wife, my son (10yrs old), and myself are going camping in the mountains this weekend. We’ll be staying in a basic cabin but I’m not sure what all we should bring. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Yahoo answers rocks!

The basic cabins I stayed in weren’t equiped with anything. Some may have had some cooking gear but that was it.
First thing I would do is see what is provided in the cabin. Then go from there.
Bring everything you would if you were camping in a tent. Your bedding, (Sleeping Bag, blankets, pillows, etc) food, latterns if needed, first aid kit, games (This is a forgotten item but can be a real blessing if the weather turns to crud.)
I spent last weekend huddled under some tarps in the rain playing cribbage, Yahtzee and those hand held video games. acidcrap
