my wife has a cousin that goes camping with us alot. where ever we go, no matter what she will hike away to go to the bathroom and someone will appear and get mooned!!! jw

we were backpacking and our raft popped and two CITs ( this was at camp) came running in matching out fits to save us. we thought we were dreaming we were so happy! Livin’ Bolivian

My neighbor and I happened upon some campers that parked their canoe near where we hike. We pulled some fun pranks on them, and even made a YouTube video of our exploits. Here it is… nickdc1960

we were camping in the wilderness with our 3 kids. An old mountain man looking guy came along the rarely traveled road and stopped to chat. He told us there have been a lot of mountain lions this season and an occasional grizzly. that was just a brief part of our conversation then he went on his way. We’ve been camping in this area for years so it wasn’t any significant news and we follow appropriate safety precautions.

That night I heard my 7 year old son getting out of his bag to go to the bathroom I heard the tent unzip just a tad but he never left. I flicked on the flashlight and saw him sticking his “thing” through the zipper hole and going potty. He said “i’m not going out there – they might be watching us”. It was pretty funny until the next morning when I got up to start the fire and found my hiking boots, that were sitting outside the tent door, soaking wet! daddylonglegs2003
