What are the laws against camping outside a proper campsite?
Me and a few friends are going to camp in a certain area that is basically next to an abandoned path/patch of trees that nobody uses or goes near.
Assuming someone actually calls the police on us, what’s the worst that could happen?
I’m English, so state law doesn’t exist.
I’ve been there before with my scout group for navigation practice, and nobody mentioned it being private. Nor are there any fences or signs to indicate such.
