So we are going camping in a few days and I am at a loss when it comes to deciding what type of food to take. Any suggestions? Oh and I actually cannot eat a lot of meat, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My family and I are going to go camping this weekend but I have no idea what to make. I had an idea of foil-wrapping and letting everyone make there own and I would cook them. Then I had an idea to make a stew or soup but thats kinda hard when your camping, and uses a lot of water.

Any ideas on what I should make? The group of people I’m going with are really big on meat and potatoes kind of thing.

I’m cooking for myself and want to be able to prepare as many meals as possible before leaving for the campground. I’ll do all types of meat and veggies, some fish to.

I’d also appreciate any tips for storage. Everything will be stored in a cooler with ice.

My friends and I are going on a camping trip with school, and the three of us are in a group. We need cooking ideas for 3 days,using only a trangia, and possibly an open fire. We don’t really have ANY so ideas for all meals and snacks would be great.

My friend & I are going tenting for a couple days. We will have a fire ring only for cooking. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could cook and how to cook it other than hot dogs on a stick or s’mores? Haven’t been camping since I was a kid.

My thoughts were chicken enchiladas, a yummy old fashioned mac & cheese, or chicken cordon bleu. Any ideas for these or other options? Last year we had ribs, jambalaya, beef burgundy, lasagna, and stuffed tenderloin as entries. Thanks for your help!! (Hungry yet!) It has to be made in a dutch oven.

I bought these on Wednesday and froze them before we left Friday afternoon. I just pulled them out to thaw about an hour ago. Are they still good?

I am an avid camper and my better half has a thing about Braised Short Ribs, and I have a new cast iron dutch oven and we are going camping and want to prepare this traditional recipie but do not know the ins/outs of braising short ribs, any suggestions and or recipies would be great.
