I know I can read about all the sites but I want to know from a real person who knows Yosemite well, someone not bias. We are looking for a tent spot, preferrably not close to other campers, and would like to be very close to some kind of water. We are aware that reservations need to be made far in advance. We are planning for summer of 09′. Anybody? Thanks for the help!

Any suggestions?

It’s been years since I last went camping and I’m wondering if this can be done with a open grill and large pot or if I need to get a camping stove. Any recipes, tips, or answers will be helpful.

I’m going to Bonarroo this summer and although I’m very excited about the camping experience, I’m not so excited about the feeling dirty part. I want to be able to stay clean while there but not pay for the shower services. If anyone knows anyway for me to bring my own shower with me please post it!!!

~*Absolutley Ordinary*~ asked:

We’re taking our 2 year old (actually 23 month old) daughter camping tomorrow and I’m looking for any helpful tips on camping with young kids.

Also, has anyone ever been to Potato Creek State Park in Indiana? What did you like best and were there any downfalls?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

BF and i going camping for our anniversary. We’ve decided on Lake Tahoe, but are unsure of what campground is the best with good lake views and a quick walk to the shore. We will be tent camping. And also if you can give rates if you’ve been to the campground b4, that would be really awesome. THANKS!

We aren’t really set up for hiking in the snow …. but hate to abandon a prepaid site. Daytime temperatures aren’t much better than the night time temps, and rain or snow is forecast almost the whole time we had anticipated camping.
